A Nanny/Housekeepers will look after the general household duties as well as the children and will work full or part time and either live in or out. This is a good option for busy families who have older children and need some assistance running the home.

Special Needs
Children with special needs require a nanny or maternity nurse who will give them individual attention, take them to appointments and they will often work alongside other professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists etc. Nannies who specialise in this area will work proactively with the child and the family to help the child reach their full potential.

Maternity Nurses
Maternity nurses will usually provide 24 hour care for a new born during the first few weeks of your baby’s life and normally work alongside the mother to settle the baby into a routine and advise on caring for the baby. They will also help to get the baby into a sleep pattern at night and tend to sleep in the same room as the baby. This is an invaluable service which gives the mother a chance to rest and recuperate after the birth so that they can enjoy the baby.

Night nannies will take sole charge of a child over night to get them into a sleep routine and then leave in the morning.
